"Paisa Paisa" started as a small-scale operation running out of residential buildings in JVLR, however co-founders Samaiyrah Ssinha, Karuna Kaur Kapur, and Karman Singh Kapur quickly joined hands to take this project across Mumbai.

The inspiration for this organization came from our own house help, who, despite being primary breadwinners in their households, were highly unaware of responsible finance management. In India, many underprivileged folks fall prey to chit-funds and other such schemes designed to scam them out of their hard-earned money, simply because people are unaware of the risks. We decided to combine our love for economics and desire to give back to people who help us every day and launched "Paisa Paisa".
